Asp Map is a component that lets you load, manage and control maps in your ASP.NET and ASP.NET AJAX applications. Each one of the maps generated with Asp Map has the following characteristics: it has multiple layers (both static and dynamic) that can be moved individually; you can rotate, zoom, access the corners of the map, scale it, apply transparencies to some layers for better visualization, etc. You can also draw, directly on the map, all types of lines, elipses, rectangles and polygons, and insert tags and text. Asp Map lets you work with WMS (Web Map Services), and also access Google Maps or MS Virtual Earth. Asp Map also lets you assign colours to certain objects of the map to visually locate them better. It has a powerful internal searcher to find any element. The resulting maps can be exported to PNG, GIF, JPG or BMP.
